We all have that one family member🤦♀️
Don’t get me wrong; I do enjoy company, sometimes, preferably with a little bit of notice, but this was a huge issue when I first brought my newborn home.
People felt entitled to coming and going when they wanted. When having visitors wasnt really something that happened before having a baby, I felt overwhelmed with it🤷♀️
Now I take this time. I let people know that some days are for just us and we love the time we do spend with family, but we would like some communication before they do drop by. And there is nothing wrong with that. Some people have taken offence and some are more then understanding. Some people don’t visit us at all anymore. The important people still do. Blessed for the people who can change something simple like taking the time to plan things with me in a time when my life has had the biggest change of all💜
